Chelsea FC Blenheim Elite Squad 4 v 1 AFC Bournemouth 

The Elite side started the game well, with the intensity of the game dictated by the home side. 10 minutes of sustained pressure took its toll, with the game becoming more open as the half played out. Chelsea FC Blenheim opened the scoring, with Amber converting the first corner of the game. AFC Bournemouth then had a good spell, pressing well and scoring the equaliser just before half time. A big performance required, and a big performance was delivered by Chelsea FC Blenheim. In their best 45 minutes of the season, the girls blew away a well organised and physically strong Bournemouth side. Maddie and Amy P scored in quick succession with well taken goals to give the Elite side a 3-1 lead. From there on in the home side controlled the game. Dior scored the last goal with minutes remaining, after a perfect pass from Amy W to keep the elite side 2nd in the league. A nice boost for the girls ahead of a few weeks on the road. Well done!
