The Elite side travelled to Charlton this week in the NFYL Premier and produced a mature performance, managing and controlling the game superbly well throughout. After this, Charlton were forced to come out which left them vulnerable, allowing the Chelsea FC Blenheim side to create more chances. 1-0 at half time and in control. Early into the second half, Matilda made it two after connecting well with Zoe’s free kick delivery from a wide area. Chelsea FC Blenheim continued to move the ball quickly against Charlton’s low block. Without the ball, Charlton tired towards the end and the Elite team secured the 3 points with a well worked corner and finish from Maddie. 2 debuts in the Elite team for Avery and Molly and an assured performance on the road form the entire squad.Back-to-back wins for the Elite team and 2nd in the NFYL Premier.
