The Elite team welcomed AFC Bournemouth to Blenheim in the last 16 of the NFYL League cup.Confidence was high after an impressive start to the season and the elite team delivered a dominant performance showcased the progress the Chelsea FC Blenheim football academy has made this year. The elite side dictated the tempo of the game and should have been 1-0 up after90 seconds, a hesitant Dior unable to get a shot away after a beautiful pass from Matilda.The second half was a carbon copy as the Elite side dominating the ball and the game. With 15minutes gone Bella scored again, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper 3-0.With 20 minutes left Bournemouth pushed forward and the game became a little scrappy.Chelsea FC Blenheim gave away too many silly fouls and Bournemouth converted one, with a good delivery being spotted home. In the last 10 minutes the Elite side managed the game to perfection and with 2 minutes left a well worked team goal was finished well by Dior. 4-1 and the first team to make it this far in the NFYL League Cup.
