This week saw the Academy side back in league action with a trip to Billericay in the National Football Youth League Championship.On the stroke of half time Ines got a well deserved goal with a lovely finish from outside the box, beating her defender before curling the ball into the top corner.Chelsea FC Blenheim managed the second half well, controlling the tempo of the game. It was Billericay, however, who scored with a 35 yard speculative attempt that flew into the top corner of Emilie's goal.This could have been the start of a comeback, but Chelsea FC Blenheim continued to manage the game well. Lola put the cherry on top of the performance, a constant threat, stealing the ball in the final third and slotting it home.The game finished 4-1 to Chelsea FC Blenheim, a convincing win and a great result for the first league game of 2025.
