In a dominant display the Blenheim girls under 18 team welcomed Harris Falconwood in the last 16 of the ESFA Trophy. After 10 minutes Amy scored the opener and the team never looked back. Amy turned provider 8minutes later, with captain Mia finishing well. Ava, Amy and Mia scored again in the closing 10minutes of the half to take the Blenheim side into half time 5-0 up and looking good.The second half started in blistering fashion, with Matilda S smashing the ball into the top corner after just 1 minute. A sensational 10 minutes followed with goals from Amy, Matilda W with 2, Mia with her third and Ava with a great strike from distance taking the score to 11-0.Harris Falconwood asked for the full time whistle early and passage to the quarter final was secured.The perfect performance in defence of the national title the team won at Stoke last May.
