Chelsea FC Blenheim 6 v 3 Billericay Town

Cheslea FC Blenheim welcomed table topping Billericay town this week in a top of the table clash. Billericay arrived as one of only two teams with a 100% record so far, Chelsea FC Blenheim looking to beat the best and climb the table. Chelsea FC Blenheim started strongly and with just 12 minutes on the clock Maddie swept home a brilliant move from just outside the area. 1-0 and the perfect start. 8 minutes later Bella blasted home from some distance to make the score 2-0 and set a high benchmark for goal of the season. 27 minutes gone and in from Dior drifted in at the back post to slot home a perfect team move. Whilst the game was being played in the opposition’s half Billericay did manage to claw a goal back after a quick break. The three goal lead was restored minutes later as Amy W followed up a shot from distance. 4-1 at half time and a positive start to an important game. 10 minutes into the half and Billericay scored again to make the score 4-2 after a missed header in the Chelsea FC Blenheim defence let the quick Billericay forward in on goal. 10 minutes later and it was Chelsea FC Blenheim who scored next, with Wein calmly finishing a bouncing ball after a dangerous corner was not cleared. 5-2 and 25 left to play. It was Dior again who scored her second and Chelsea FC Blenheim's 6th in after the perfect through ball from Toni left Dior with the task of picking a corner and securing the points. Billericay did score again at the death but it was job done and 2nd place in the table secured.
