In the development team’s first game of the season Tottenham Hotspur visited Blenheim. Chelsea FC Blenheim started the brightest with Amy scoring after 5 minutes. The perfect start, but the goal didn't stop Spurs from getting a foothold in the game, with an equaliser following 5 minutes later. After 35 minutes Matilda restored Chelsea FC Blenheim's lead from distance, 2-1 at half time but work to be done in an even contest. Chelsea FC Blenheim started the second half perfectly, scoring after 2 minutes to extend their lead. Spurs answered back with a goal direct from the kick off, 3-2 and game on. The goals flowed freely in the last 10 minutes, with Spurs equalising. Blenheim slotted home 2 more goals from through balls but frustratingly Spurs scored twice towards the end of the game meaning the points were shared.
