The CFCF Blenheim side, consisting of mainly Year 12 students due to exams, travelled to recent cup winners Arsenal this week.

In a carbon copy of last week's game CFCF Blenheim started slowly and found themselves down early in the game. This time it was 3-0 before the girls got a foot hold in the game. The third goal, fortunately, was the catalyst for change with Frances scoring CFCF Blenheim's first goal three minutes after Arsenal's third.

CFCF Blenheim started the second half strongly and Holly scored directly from a corner to bring the away side within one goal. Pushing for an equaliser left CFCF Blenheim prone to the counterattack, and Arsenal capitalised on this extra space to score again making the score 4-2.

Amelia K scored from another brilliant 'Holly' corner with nine minutes left to set up a grandstand finish, but Arsenal held on to take all three points.

Well done to the team for some great play.
